Eat Local Challenge, day 5
Leftovers today from a nice batch of soup made a couple of days ago, using up some of my Market finds from last weekend: corn, kale, collards, garlic, red & white cabbage, along with some garden herbs. Even chopped up the leftover bison flank steak. This soup got better with time - I put in some cayenne when I made it, which was nice, not too hot. Time in the fridge really melded all flavors together, and this reheat seemed to have a bit more other heat underlying all the other flavors. Definitely as good if not better the second time around!
